Following the AGM and a chat with Floyd we've decided it's a good time to give the club website a bit of a makeover, particularly with a new committee, new club kit, and it being the 25th half-marathon this year. It would be great to have input from members in terms of ideas and suggestions of how you think the site should look and what you want from it. Dee Wright and Graham Pearson have kindly offered to contribute, and if there's anyone else who wants to play an active role in the redevelopment please let me know. Otherwise please feel free to use this thread to leave your ideas, etc. I've had a look at some other Kent club websites, and these 3 are (in my opinion) some of the better ones: If anyone else has any recommendations of good examples of club websites please post a link here. I should also point out that I'm not a web designer by profession, it's just a bit of a hobby, and my training consists of a 10 week HTML course at an evening class several years ago! So I can't do anything too 'flash', although I'm willing to give it a try!

I think someone raised the idea of a members area at the AGM? Might be useful to have some optional contact details in there. Would be useful for people trying to get a lift to an event or such like?
Photo's of key members so new comers can easily recognize them when coming for the first time - may make it slightly less daunting when entering a room full of strangers.
The current site works very well for me, so keep up the good work Paul.

Thanks Matt. Michael White mentioned the members area, and that's certainly something we will consider.
