Some of you may have read my initial report in the latest harriers newsletter.
Since that report was written i have completed a few more races and have just 4 left between now and the final race on the 25th October in Dublin.
I am not going to bore you with my thoughts of the races that i have run but just thought i would provide a list of races and times.
January - Gloucester 4 hours 18 mins March - Cambridge 4 hours 7 mins March - Cotswolds 4 hours 32 mins April - Blackpool 4 hours 4 mins May - Halstead 4 hours 59 mins June - South Downs (trail/x country) 4 hours 42
Next race - Stevenage on the 18th July Alan

Following the strangest marathon race of my limited experience i thought i should provide my time:
Stevenage - Fairlands Challenge 4 hours 37 minutes.
To be given 4 pages of written instructions before being released to run 26.2 miles with no marshalls (except at check points) was very different to the previous marathons that i have run this year.
This also gives me confidence that Halstead was a blip due to some form of issues that i had that weekend and my road times should come down to the 4 hour mark again.
How did the other Harriers get on in this race?

Eight down - Two to go!
You can see in the races section I managed to get round the Margate course in 4 hours 16, which is over 20 mins better than last year. Not a PB though as my best remains 4 hours 4 mins in Blackpool.
I hope to go under 4 hours either in Nottingham on Sunday or Dublin in October.
